BIO

Abshalom Jac Lahav is an artist and writer. He was born 1978 in a small farm house in Jerusalem Israel.  Abshalom’s parents moves to the United States when he was 4 years old and where his father, a world renown eye surgeon, passed away in 1998. 

He received an MFA from Brooklyn College, and a BA in psychology from Wesleyan University. His work has been shown internationally, including exhibitions with Jewish Museum NY, Richmond Art Museum, Oregon Jewish Museum, and Jarmuschek and Partner Berlin. He lives in Brooklyn and the Catskills, where he spends his time growing Gourds, raising pugs, and practicing the occult.
